Although I love documenting people’s most special moments, my favorite moments are the ones where God’s love is evident. Mission work has been a huge part of my life and is a huge part of how God drew me to Himself.

That being said, every time I come home from a mission trip, I’ve always struggled because I don’t feel like I can convey what I saw and experienced. It’s hard to summarize all God is doing when someone briefly asks. I often get frustrated because it is impossible to sum up God’s work across the world in one quick conversation. So, I started taking pictures. I’ve heard people say that a picture is worth a thousand words, so I figured this would be a good place to start. As I began documenting special moments overseas, my heart began to fall in love with this way of expressing. Although pictures still don’t fully do it justice, I believe it is a great way to connect with people back home who have not yet experienced something like this. Pictures display the beauty of different cultures and peoples. Pictures portray the rawness of ministry overseas, poverty, and yet the joy that so many still possess in times of difficulty.

God’s story is the greatest ever told, and I am honored to get to share a little bit of what He’s doing around the world through photography.
